He has twice as many PA's against LHP as he does "late and close/RISP" and according to those he rakes LHP. O'Flaherty shuts down LHB...I'd walk Tulo too.

Tulowitzki has very pedestrian numbers late when it comes to RISP and overall "clutch" opportunities. He's low to mid .200s at best when it comes to this from the 6th or 7th inning

Orioles at 17-9, first time they've been eight games over .500 since July of 2005

This shows how tough AL East is.

Yankees have win% of .538(2 games over .500). If they were in 4 of the other 5 divisions, they'd be 2nd, but in the AL East, they're 4th.

Jays on the other hand will be 5 games over .500 and still only 3rd!!

I understand that. My point was his RISP/Clutch numbers are in about 400 PA's while his numbers vs. LHP are in almost 1000 PA's. I'm going with the larger sample (not to mention I'm willing to bet a bunch of those RISP/Clutch numbers were vs. RHP in late innings).

Jays with a complete game shutout!

Back to back complete game shutouts for them! When was last time the Jays(and any MLB team in general) had 2 straight games where pitchers pitched complete game shutouts.

Ed Rapuano ****ing up 2 calls at first in that inning. One each way.

                Human error!

I'd like to see his numbers vs LHP in late innings with RISP even if the same sizes are skewed. He presses too much to make the big play and catches himself chasing high fastballs

Those same people with the Helton sign are there for literally every home game. I wish I could do that

What a dominating start by Henderson Alvarez. He made the Angels look real bad while Jose Bautista actually did something with his bat tonight. So all is right with the world

Nice offensive output today, wish I could've gone to the game.
