Anyways going back to the Jays 2 consecutive complete game shutouts; This was the first time that has happened since 1993 when Al Leiter and Jack Morris accomplished that feat.

Why? Their issues aren't the manager. Crappy roster, injuries to their closer, Crawford, Ellsbury and Youklis etc..

The fans and media are already on his back. If they continue to lose and in spectacular fashion it's going to get worse and worse.

I'm not saying I want to or think he's going to get fired already but it's going to be talked about in the media even though they ignore the larger issues you rightly point out.

I'm not saying I want to or think he's going to get fired already but it's going to be talked about in the media even though they ignore the larger issues you rightly point out.

Fans and the media don't sign his checks. Hopefully the front office won't fire him because the fans and the media want him gone.

Their roster wasn't that great when 100% healthy. They had obvious pitching issues, lack a real every day shortstop, no bullpen depth, etc. This was going to be a tough job for Bobby no matter what.

Probably. They are real close to being the 4th best team in that division, if they aren't already.

There was something else going on behind the scenes there too. Someone's head had to roll for that collapse. Manager is the easiest way to go.
