Hopefully the Jays can provide Drew Hutchinson with some runs this afternoon and take the series.

Bases loaded and nobody out in the 1st inning for the Rays...

Rays score 4 in the first and force Milone to throw 41 pitches in the inning.

            @ Chipper vs. Moyer.

Watching the game, I rewound the initial incident a couple of times but didn't realize this was what it was about. I love the last comment by Chipper.

            EDIT: http://tinyurl.com/bww5qxs

...vetaran pitcher Jamie Moyer made the mistake of providing some when he accused Chipper Jones of relaying signs with Brian McCann at the plate in the fifth inning of Saturday night's game at Coors Field. The four-run advantage the Rockies held at the time of this incident quickly evaporated over the next few innings.

"That was all on Jamie Moyer," Jones said. "He woke a sleeping giant tonight. He started chirping and it went all downhill from there. He accused me of relaying a sign down 6-2 with a 3-0 count to Brian McCann. I have never relayed a sign to anyone while I'm on second base."

Incensed and motivated by Moyer's accusation, Jones delivered key hits in his next two at-bats and matched his career high with a five-RBI performance while leading the Braves to a 13-9 comeback win over the Rockies.

Moyer did not address this issue while speaking to reporters after the game, and he had exited the clubhouse by the time Jones told MLB.com what had transpired when they exchanged words during the fifth inning.

"You question our integrity, that's wrong," Jones said. "I've never accused him of doctoring a baseball. I've never accused him of over-milligraming, nothing. That's [garbage] and he woke us up. I didn't see any signs on the 900-foot homers that were hit."

The Yankees lead 6-1 in the top of the 3rd inning.

Nelson Cruz is the tying run here. It's too bad that he's been terrible this season.

Yep, that was the least surprising strikeout of the season.

The more I watch the more I love Reyes/Hanley defensively in the left side, my concerns are shifting to LoMo/Stanton(good arms, not greatest fielders)
Yeah, I think it was the ball that Denorfia hit to right yesterday, but Stanton really looked bad at reading the line drive and made a bad play, resulting in the ball rolling all the way back.

Pujols now with as many homers this year as such esteemed power hitters as Norichika Aoki, Dee Gordon, and Cliff Pennington.

Another gap double for Trout today. He looks like he might be legit. Can't imagine playing in the big leagues at 20 years old.
