There is definately an issue with the way qualifying is setup. I believe the US team won the first 3 games by a combined score of 21-0. I'm seriously wondering how a 1-3 team can qualify while a 3-1 team can't. There seems to be a logic issue here...

come on, we're allowed to be kinda mad that the US didn't make it to the Olympics in Baseball. If somehow Canada didn't make it to the Olympics in Hockey we wouldn't be jumping all over the Canadians for bitching, hell, I'd join in with them. That being said, I just don't care about Olympic baseball, we don't know the players or anything.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

OK let me get this straight: Just because the baseball superpower in the US gets knocked out by a Mexico squad that means that there should be no more baseball as an olympic sport???

I remember reading that the IOC is thinking about dropping Baseball as a olympic sport along with Softball and the Modern Pentathlon. I think They postponed the decision until after the 2004 Summer games so it will still be a olympic sport in 2008 but after that it is unknown as what will happen to these sports in the olympics.Comment

I didn't even know Baseball was an olympic sport until a few years ago. It's like Soccer in the US. No one pays attention to it anyways.Comment
