    Josh Beckett at it again...

    Josh Beckett or "The Texas tough guy" as he is nicknamed around here. Doing what he does best. Making headlines in Boston for doing the wrong thing.


    According to a report by 98.5 The Sports Hub's Hardy, Red Sox righthander Josh Beckett played golf in the area last Thursday afternoon, two days before he was scheduled to miss a start against the Orioles because of stiffness in his latissimus muscle.

    Really? From the collapse of last year with him being the target of drinking beer, eating chicken wings in the clubhouse and now he pulls this crap while being "hurt". Honestly I can't wait till this turd is out of Boston. Constantly boasting a crappy ERA he has been a big problem in this Sox organization. Red Sox are last place in the division for a reason when they have guys like Josh Beckett floating around.

          I'm no medical genius, but isn't it a good idea to kinda move around if you have a stiff muscle?

                  Yeah you might be right but the guy did it without anyone knowing which would be the worst part. Also there was a confirmed story of him recently blowing off the strength trainer he just doesn't do anything right and is a hot head.

                              LOL yah its bad. Youk is another problem. The one bright spot is Middlebrooks this kid is good and should be starting at third. I dunno what the sox can do with Youk, trade him with that contract? I don't know hard part would be finding a team who wants him. Beckett tonight I didn't watch but 7 earned runs in like 2 innings, its pathetic. Red Sox are a joke right now and if stuff doesn't change with the personnel they're just gonna keep finding a new rock bottom.

                                              The big problem with him was he was part of the whole chicken & beer thing. And then he bitched because people let it out.

                                                  Josh Beckett is one of the most confusing pitchers I have ever watched.
                                                  He has legit ace, perennial All Star, maybe HOF Caliber stuff, but he is so gosh darn inconsistent.
                                                  To me its crazy he is still only 31, he's been in the big leagues for so long figured he'd be older than that.

                                                          This whole Beckett situation starts from the top. Ownership have become enablers. The fact that they allowed him to show up at spring training, and not take any responsibility for last season, told me everything I needed to know. Fact is he never should have been brought back in the first place.

                                                          Now management are putting out reports that they told Beckett he would not start this past Saturday. Just another example of treating him like the entitled *** that he is. Reminds me of Roger Clemens all over again.

                                                          Now he spews this garbage about only having 18 days off a year. Nah, you have all winter off and only pitch every 5th day. Not only does this insult the fans, but also the position players on the team.

                                                          Stated in the Red Sox team thread weeks ago. I have never disliked a team as a whole, they way I do this Sox team.
