truely a great year for Doc.He was one of the worst pitchers a few years ago...Scouts thought that he had no business even being in the leahue but he kept working hard and it's paying off now...And he's only 25!If the jays can add to the pitching they have now(Doc,Escobar)they will contend again like they did this past season!

Im glad Roy won, but Im not so happy he won by this much. Hopefully he can come back next year and have another good year, and his Jays will make the post-season, rewarding him for the hardwork.

Even if the White Sox made the playoffs, there's STILL no way Loazia would have won that over Halladay. Halladay OWN3D every pitcher in the big leagues this year.

OH BOY! That's the funniest thing i've read so far today. You do know that Roy was 1st in almost every significant pitching category this past season? There is absolutely NO WAY loazia would've won it. He might've had a chance if he didn't have a meltdown down the stretch but he still wouldn't have beaten Roy.

3rdanswer: I was shocked at the vote total too but I don't think that'll faze Roy much. He's a hard worker and a guy who wants to be on the mound in pressure situations. As i've said all this past season he's very much like Dave Stieb. I just hope he doesn't get arm problems like Stieb and have to retire early.
