I think Bautista is now tied atop the AL HR standings with 23. Pretty amazing turnaround considering how awful he was for a month and a half.

Did Josh Hamilton die? It seems like he had 23 home runs about a month ago.

Hasn't he been sick for a while? I thought he had one thing first, and now he has this intestinal virus thing going on. He had 22 even though he was out with a back thing for a while earlier this season.

              Bautista has 10hr's in June.

Can't believe the Jays won that one. The whole Lawrie-Rasmus-Bautista-Encarnacion quartet is so hot right now. Too bad the pitching situation is a mess.

That was a funny little thing that happened to Joel Peralta tonight. Apparently his old teammates ratted him out for hiding a little something something in his glove.

You mean a month ago when he was the greatest player in the history of the game?

Miguel Cabrera would have something to say about that.

Who saw Joe Maddon's press conference where he referred to the Nationals knowledge of knowing Peralta doctored up the ball from a previous stint with the Nationals as "bogus", "bush league", and "insider trading" ? LoL.

Really Joe? So the problem is not w/ Peralta then?

davey johnson had inside information and used it to his advantage... there is no problem with him, this wouldn't be a situation if peralta wasn't hiding stuff in his glove in the first place. maddon just said that stuff out of frustration, i'm sure he changed his tone when the cameras were out of there.

I bet there are a lot of people on this forum that would take issue with you saying that 1983 isn't during the modern times. lol

Yeah, it was a crazy game and that quartet is really firing on all cylinders. If only the pitching situation was better than the Jays would be a really scary team to play.

What an amazing turn around by Bautista and the back to back jacks by he and Rasmus in the 9th was HUGE!

Here's hoping these guys can stay hot or at least produce at a reasonable rate once the pitching situation clears up.
