Stanton just saying F it today, not sure he's seen a single fastball in the zone today.

Better not waste that Willngham homer. He absolutely launched that one.

Chapman couldn't have picked a worse spot to place that.

Looks like the Reds need a new closer... again.

Can't for the life of me understand why Desmond tried to run against Wieters in that situation. I'll take the win.

Wondered what was up after the way Youk was removed from the game. Not real excited about him coming to the central but it's not like he's been mashing this year so

Not the type of news you prefer to see, I know this is a gameday thread, but with all the relievers and being the longest tenured coach in the organization, I hope it is somewhat appropriate.

The organization has had his number in the bullpen all season long and just a couple of weeks ago was his 50th birthday. RIP Darrel Akerfelds.

                            Notes from gm1 of the Rays/Phillies double-header:

                            1. Michael Martinez cannot slide.
                            2. Michael Maritnez outright sucks anyways.
                            3. The Phillies Bullpen really, really, really, really, REALLY sucks.
                            4. Hunter Pence swings at everything.
                            5. We need to re-sign Cole Hamels.

His bat speed is only going to slow down as he gets older, and his terrible discipline isn't going to help.
Uh....who CAN hit when their cold? That makes no sense...what there's a semi-successful cold hitter or something?

Yeah. He's named pre 2011 Albert Pujols.
