The Mets could be a totally different team if it isn't for their bullpen.

Wild play in the Pads/Dodgers game. Runners on 2nd/3rd, 2-2 count, 2-outs and the Dodgers up 6-5 trying to end the game. Kenley Jansen stepped off and turned his back to home plate and Everth Cabrera broke for home. Jansen turned and threw home, but it was wild and Cabrera scored. Meanwhile, Will Venable raced all the way around from 2nd to score the go ahead run before Ellis could get the ball back to Jansen at home.

From 1-strike away to down a run without throwing a pitch...crazy.

That was a bizarre play, and even the home plate ump called Cabrera out even though the ball sailed past Ellis. That mis-call might've bought Venable enough time to score that second run.

Those umpires at the Braves/Mets game yesterday were atrocious.

I liked how the umpire called an out first lol.

Are you a Mets fan? Because the only important thing about that trap call was that they got it right.

No. The umps were right about it being a trap, but Prado still got tagged just standing around. You can't possibly override that.

The Giants are back in first place. I think the NL West may be one of the more exciting divisional races this year. I think the D'Backs still have a chance to win too.

Of course, that was due to the reaction of the out call. From everything else, he was (and would have remained) on second base. Again, the right call is the important thing here.

And the AL Wild Card race looks to be the most exciting thing to watch right now.

I thought in my head Francoeur would be a right fit for the Giants to replace Schierholtz/Blanco. I wouldn't doubt if they pursue him.

The only reason I would see the Royals be disinterested is because they literally were stolen from the last trade (with Melky Cabrera and Jonathan Sanchez).
