Red Sox prospect Shaq-Green-Thompson is quietly having one of the worst starts in baseball history. http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats...pbp&pid=623379

I'm pretty sure Juan Samuel has studied the many different way you can shake a player's hand as he's rounding 3rd and heading for home. Other than that I think he studies the second hand on an analog watch as far as what he should do.

Cody Ross is just killing lefthanded pitching. 7HRs/18RBIs in 62 ABs, slugging .742.

5 straight 2 out singles and then a three run homer. Ugh.

                Cool story, Jake McGee.

This is why the Rockies wont do anything drastic in order to win

The Rockies stink but somewhat remarkably continue to draw well, ranking 13th overall in baseball attendance despite having fallen 21 games under .500.
13th in attendance with that team. Ownership sees $$ so the season is a success. I had plans of doing season tickets but that wont happen, nor will single game trips from me happen until they commit to what they always bull**** about.

In the long-term a losing team will never fill seats.

But in the short term Rockies fans are doomed.

                              Believe its been 5 years they've averaged 30,000 to 35,000 a year.

                              Edit

                              2011: 73-89 / 35,923
                              2010: 83-79 / 35,497
                              2009: 92-70 / 32,902
                              2008: 74-88 / 32,719
                              2007: 90-73 / 28,979
                              2006: 76-86 / 25,980
                              2005: 67-95 / 23,634

Attendance has gone up despite an overall drop in record year to year.

Coors Field is basically an amusement park, walk around to see the sites and laugh at whats being put out on the field. Its not like the Broncos and their stadium where its about football and the game that day

As a Jays fan this week has been horrendous. I do hope Lawrie takes the injury he suffered yesterday to heart and doesn't keep putting his body needlessly on the line like that.
