'99 MLB Draft #1 pick overall.....most people from North Carolina know about him. I got the chance to meet him about 2 months after the draft, and for a 10 year old kid, that was just about the coolest thing ever, he gave me a bat and signed some autographs for me. He seemed like a real class act with a professional work ethic that would go places. Got into trouble and go tattos lately. Anyone know where he is for this off season and any predictions on next year? Only if you really know, no crap.

If I recall, he had a really bad car accidents 2 years ago. Last year, didn't the D-Rays give him the year off to get his life together? I may be thinking of another prospect. He had all the potential in the world. Hope he can come back. -

Yep, took last year off to take care of some personal problems. Should be playing at double A this year.Comment

Yup you're right. He's still a year away IMO (unless the Rays don't get any OF, which is unlikely.
Once he gets his psychological issues taken care, he'll be on the fast track to the bigs.
