When Felix goes to the Red Sox in 2015 he'll get to bean all the Yankees he wants.

I don't see him going anywhere, especially after winning the World Series in 2014.

I'm gonna save all your posts about Felix to bring back up when Felix shocks the world and re-signs with the Mariners

Or how about that one homer's post that said he wouldn't trade Felix for Trout, Trumbo AND Richards?

I don't see how that's relevant to your guarantee that Felix has no interest in staying in Seattle.

I've watched a bit of some Yankee games this year (I can't help it they shovel a lot of their games on my TV) and he's clearly not the hitter he once was. I daresay they should move him at DH full time but the Yanks have too many older guys that that's probably not possible for the foreseeable future.

He actually has better numbers as a DH than 3B this year.

Really loving Erik Kratz. I'm hoping he's the Phils backup for next season.

I'm just saying that most Mariner fans (especially on this particular forum) overvalue their team, players and prospects more than most and it is quite annoying at times.

In the past year alone we have had proclamations that Seattle would win the World Series by 2014, that Pineda (when he was still with the M's) would win the Cy Young by 2013 and was a "far better" prospect than Strasburg, and the coup de grace was that Hernandez would sign a lifetime contract for a hometown discount just because he "loves Seattle and doesn't care about winning."

I obviously never ventured into the baseball forums much. All the Mariners fans I know or have seen seem to have a hard time ever seeing the positives and almost always turn everything negative. Didn't realize we even had enough upbeat homers that were so noticeable. Interesting.

Derek Jeter batting 2nd for the first time this year as Ichiro leads off the ballgame.

Have mercy: El capitan juices one! 1-0 Yankees.

Tommy Hanson walked 7 batters, and had 7 runners steal bases on him today. Yet he still only allowed 3 hits and 1 run in 5 innings as the Braves win. The Marlins are not good and are getting worse, but at least they have pretty ballpark decorations to look at.

Weren't those all from the same fan? The M's regulars on this board are pretty fair except for 1, maybe 2.

As thaima1shu stated, most Mariners fans away from this board are disinterested. Can't blame them, it's been 11 years since they made the playoffs. They went from having one of the highest attendances in the league to not even cracking 2m/year in attendance.
