I've been betting for Felix to win Cy Young all season. Any doubters now?

No, but seriously. It comes down to him, Jared Weaver, or JV. Felix has the perfecto, so I hope he takes it.

Honestly IMO its between Felix and Verlander. Weaver might have the sparkling record, but he lacks the IP and K's you usually see from a Cy Young winner. If Weaver hadn't missed some starts he'd be right up there with them

I think Chris Sale could have an argument too...

I think the same thing applies that applies to Weaver applies to Sale, especially if the White Sox start limiting his innings.

That aside, if Felix maintains this pace for the rest of the year, I see him as the clear-cut winner.

This is insane.

Felix Hernandez threw 16 curveballs that the Rays swung at, they missed on 10.
Felix Hernandez threw 15 change ups that the Rays swung at, they missed on 9.
Felix Hernandez threw 6 sliders that the Rays swung at, they missed on 5.

Felix is my favorite pitcher in the league. Happy for him and for Mariner fans. And amused that this continues to happen to the Rays. Just hope that Pineda can come back healthy and be half the pitcher the King is.

I'm seriously worried for Ricky Romero's career

As Scott Ferguson on TSN.ca wrote in an article earlier this month or late last month it really looks like Romero has been bitten by Steve Blass Disease. I watched this game and it was a pathetic sight. Romero was throwing exclusively fastballs in the first two innings and couldn't even corral that! It was so bad that a few FBs were in the dirt. He's lost the ability to control his pitches and his body language was very disturbing. Even when he did something good it was a look of frustration rather than happiness at doing something well and when he leaves the field and goes to the dugout he's literally huffing and puffing and beating himself up mentally.

This guy needs the offseason to happen as soon as possible....

In other news at least the Jays offense showed up tonight unfortunately they allowed 7 runs...Oops!

Let's hope they can salvage a split tomorrow.

I know i'm late on the celebration on Felix's Perfection. So yeah. Congrats n stuff. And to be honest i really hoped he would have gotten traded to a contender at the deadline. Maybe next year i guess.

Jesus. Josh Hamilton just absolutely punished a baseball into right center in the Stadium. 3-2 now with Hamilton hitting 2 solo home runs and being the only one doing anything for the Rangers.

I don't know how, but the Rockies swept a team and it wasn't the Astros! Very surprised at how well EY JR is hitting at the moment.
