Incredible to believe we only have 3 of these left....here's to the Braves coming out of their swoon.

Since the Jays are just limping down to the end of the season I will continue to pay attention but here are the teams i'm rooting for in some form or another for the playoff hunt:

Orioles: This franchise used to OWN the AL East for years and years so it's nice to see them back on their feet again. I don't know if this is a one and done type of deal but something tells me it might not be as Buck Showalter is a damn good manager.

A's: Billy Beane does it again! This time I think if given the right opponent in the playoffs they could make some real noise.

Dodgers: Same reason as the O's so i'm hoping they make it in there.

Either way, it should be an interesting stretch run and playoffs this year.

I now call the A's the Moneyballers. It's just amazing what they've done.
Being a Red Sox fan, I have now become an Orioles and Rays fan in hopes that they can push the Yankees out of the playoffs. Yankees have 2 more in Tampa and then 4 in Baltimore.

Reds can thank the blown call in the top of the 4th as to why they did not face a potentially crooked number inning there. Make up your minds.

Typical Hanson start...5-6 innings, lots of K's, lots of pitches, some homers, leaves with bases loaded and no run support.

Tigers finally get on the board in the 6th with a 2 run shot by Cabrera. Still down 3-2, need to win this game and have a shot at taking the series tomorrow. Seems any time we catch the WSox we immediately start losing again.

Ah...September Braves baseball. I'd expect nothing less.

So the Twins have scored 17 runs - it's still the 5th inning, 10 runs so far.

The Vikings may struggle to top this.

Still going to be enough to beat the Jags.
