Ryan had a good one in this game earlier:

I wish. He has meant so damn much to this squad.

Last few days I've been thinking whether we go with Huddy or Medlen for the play-in game. I think I still go Huddy. Would like to have him pitch Game 1 of the DS though if we won the play-in.

I told everyone that it was a good move to get Bundy up and pitching out of the pen.

Baseball gods have been great this year... AL East being contested? Call ups of Harper, Olt, Machado? Trout playing full time and demolishing the ball? Two of the biggest international signings of recent memory (Cespedes + Darvish)? Extra wild card spot?

Been a brilliant year. Lots of very interesting prospects been called up when rosters expanded too... Profar, now Bundy

The Orioles have been keeping me company late nights lately in the library. Surprisingly though I made it through the 18 innings but fell asleep for last nights.

As a royals fan its very pleasing to see we called up Odorizzi, I really hope he gets a start against cleveland this weekend, yost seems precautious about it which he shouldn't be. Let the kid throw Ned!

Also like the guy above me said this has been a great year for baseball, I find myself with no phone battery most the time because I'm busy checking scores or stats.

The Orioles are 15-2 in extra inning games this year.

            That's mildly impressive.

              They're 21 games over .500 and have a run differential of -10. 27-8 in one-run games.

Great to see Cueto pitching a good game. (inb4jinx) They definitely need him to pitch like this if they want to go anywhere.

Wow, I knew they were frontrunners but even I didn't think it was that bad.

It's awesome. I'd love to see a Baltimore/Washington World Series.

I hope most O's fans are enjoying the ride rather than angrily demanding "respect" from the media. There's no shame in being lucky.

Heh, it's kind of like the Tim Tebow experience last year. You kept waiting for him and the Broncos to regress to the mean, all the while enjoying what they were doing.

Phillies taking it to the Mets in the first inning 7-0. The first 8 Phillies reached safely, and Jimmy Rollins is 2-2 with 2 RBI in just the first.

Amazing 1st inning from the Phils. 8 runs on 9 hits. Jeremy Hefner and Colin McHugh combined for 58 pitches in the inning for the Mets.

Fun fact of the day: Kris Medlen has only made 10 starts (first one on July 31st) and yet he's FIFTH in WAR among pitchers (Cueto, Dickey, Kershaw, Gonzalez are ahead).

If I were the Braves, I'd be starting Medlen in the Wild Card game. Dude has been unreal.
