    Rangers refuse arbitration to Palmeiro

The Texas Rangers refused to offer salary arbitration to 1B/DH Rafael Palmeiro, ending Palmeiro's 5 year return to Texas,
the Rangers say the 39 year old Palmeiro did not fit into the clubs plans for next season,
the Rangers also did not off arbitration to OF Juan Gonzalez and P Ismael Valdes.

If the Rangers do trade A-Rod for Manny Ramirez who else is supposed to pick up the slack on offense, Hank Blalock and Mark Teixera had good years last year but there not going to be enough to bat around Manny,
if your a Ranger fan i feel sorry for you, this team is going down hill in a hurry.

I don't feel sorry for them. This will allow for alot of cash freeing up all around, and they can go after a cheap (hopefully young) outfield and infield, while settling their big cash (providing they actually grant a miracle and spend it wisely) towards pitching. This is good for the Rangers, but not really productive. It's like they are dumping their old ideals of hitting wins it, and going for the pitching. In reality it's an even ammount of both aspects and team spirit. They are acting much like babies, just trying to figure out how the game is friggin' played. This game is very simple, and yet they seem to misunderstand it at all times and in the worst ways. I half expect this out of Houston (just because most if not all of the people I've met from Houston are two ticks short a full hour) but not from these guys. Maybe they grew up in Houston...

...I swear, the water down there......

they're hoping blalock and tex will score some, 30 hmrs each? that's optimistic. Plus they're hoping to pick up an outfielder or two.

I'm sofa king, we Todd Ed.
