What a nerve wracking series. Every game was so exciting to watch and nail biting to the end, but I'm glad its over with.

And I didn't have a problem with benching ARod. It could be seen as a panic move, but also could be Girardi playing the platoon advantage and trying to get as many lefties against Hammel as possible. I would have liked to see Granderson benched also, but the other 3 are all lefties. Also while Granderson, Cano, and Swisher struggled all series, they at least hit well towards the end of the season, especially Cano and Swisher. ARod has been horrendous for several weeks now, especially against righties. This is also coming from one of the biggest ARod backers on the forums, who has defended him through and through in every playoff series up to this point.

As much as people may not want to hear it, at this point Chavez against a RHP vs. ARod against a RHP is pretty much a wash at this point.
