This is classic fan panic button. It's two games. It amazes me that Alex still gets so much crap while Tex gets nothing for having not hit anything like the player the Yanks signed.

At least ARod won two MVPs and people have him crap then too. He's just a walking punching bag and is expected to produce everytime. No one puts anyone else on the roster at such a high pedestal.

Plus it makes sense to have Cano protecting him.

Not to mention A-Rod carried us in the postseason to one championship.

It's amazing how he gets singled out. People need to get over the contract. Everyone knows it's terrible, but there's nothing we can do about that. Yankees shouldn't have bid against themselves.

A lot of guys need to hit better.

Overreact? He's getting paid a gazillion dollars to be a complete bum. I'd hardly call that overreacting.

Whole team is losing right now to a team that's payroll is signifcantly less than half of the Yankee payroll.

Yet all the focus is on A-Rod.

If the Yanks do not win tonight the series will be pretty much done. Especially with Hughes pitching and his home run clinic he likes to put on. Need offense to combat that which has been spotty at best.

Never seen a lineup so lost at the plate. The desperation hacks are in full force right now.

The Yankees as a team are playing terrible right now. Not just one player

Maybe someone can get on and Cano can run into one. That's all I can hope for.

Starting pitching has been excellent. Unfortunately Miguel Gonzalez is like Bob Gibson to this lineup. ARod and Granderson just look lost at the plate this series. All the focus will be on ARod if they lose, but Tex had an even more disappointing season and Granderson had what is very likely the worst 40 home run season in history.

Waste of a great start by Kuroda.

If someone was to tell me before the series started that your 1,2 and 3 starters were going to pitch at least 8 innings, I would think the series would be a lock.
