Re: Vlad won\'t be back

Worst move the Expos could ever make, Vladmir Guerrero is a star player, someone to build around, and a good draw to bring in fans,
with Guerrero gone what real appeal do the Expos have for any prospective buyer?, none!
no Guerrero, no Vazquez and Jose Vidro is probably gone in a year, or sooner,
bad move Expos, bad move Base Ball.

one more thing: yet another reason Bud Selig should not be comissioner.

I fail to see how a team with Livan Hernandez, Orlando Hernandez, Tony Armas Jr., Zach Day, Rocky Biddle, Tomo Ohka, Michael Barrett, Nick Johnson, Jose Vidro, Orlando Cabrera, and Jose Macias is bad. Their only real problem now is the outfield, and without Vlad and Javier's huge cash, they now have the money to go AFTER a decent outfield. I guarantee that they will probably have an awesome one come ST. The team isn't dead just because their two top stars left, infact, it's more alive than it's ever been. If you or others fail to see that, I feel sorry for you. No offense.

the OF is not very good.Wilkerson is ok but he k's way too much and Endy Chavez can't hit to save his life.We still have problems at the catcher position(IRod Maybe?)as well as 3rd base. The pitching will be good thought.

Re: Vlad won\'t be back

Michael Barrett is a problem? I was unaware of this....

That guy is the H&S of the whole team, and he's "a problem"? Uhuh...get back to me when you know what you're talking about...

As for the OF, I just said that they now have the cash to go after a good outfield. Infact, that was the entire point of my post. Did you even read it?

They have enough infielders to take over third, but getting a guy who can commit full time in the hot corner would be a wise choice.

Once again, they just got rid of the two biggest money eaters on the table, so they can now go after cheaper, more effective players to make the entire team a whole lot better. As opposed to just right field, get it? I guess just based on your last post that you STILL don't, but OH WELL.
