i agree with getting Vlad it just makes more sense if you are going to spend all of that money to try to get younger rather than signing a third DH. I would rather they went after beltran to play center and put soriano in left and matsui in right if they cant get vlad. Then they could always go out and get a second basemen or even a third basemen with boone shifting back to second. I am also real concerned about Pettitte, I dont think hes coming back to the Yanks and he would rather go home and frankly who could blame him the way steinbrenner gets on his case somehimes. ASlso Colon is off the market, so the Yanks better think uop somehting.
