Although Tejada and Vina up the middle would be a solid start...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Vina is #4, Tejada is #4, and Higgy is #4. The Tigers could have a real crises on their hands. Seriously, they have enough youth, especially that pitching staff, a few vets who can produce is good.

If Tejada comes to Motown, he can have whatever number he wants!!

They need to firm up the SS position now with Tejada or Aurilla and look at starting pitching. Then maybe we'll only lose 95 games!

Who ever we get, Tram will have them playing good baseball and playing hard. The wins will be there.

Good move by the tigers. Vina is a good second basemen, no matter what anyone says. This is a solid guy to put in a lineup as dreary as the Tiger's. I hope they get Aurillia, because Tejada needs to go to the Mariners, k?

This move may help the Tiggers offensively but really it's not going to help them in the long term when they've got all this young starting pitching getting shelled. The only way this helps is if Vina is a Cy Young type pitcher and know one knew about it.
