Why the Rangers didn't offer Arbitration to Palmeiro

Rangers agree to deal with Brad Fullmer

If they don't use this guy as a full time DH (and it doesn't look like they will) they are even bigger fools than I thought.

Yeah hopefully he will be playing DH so Mark Texeira will get some time in at first, atlhough he can play other positions.

The only thing it does do is cut a little bit of the team salary. I assume Fullmer isn't making too much.

Replace a class act like Palmeiro for musclehead? HOO BOY.

Fullmer is also a bit of a headcase so I hope the signing goes sour for the Rangers.

They will use Fullmer as there primary DH, though Mark Teixera may see time in the Outfield if rookie 1B Adrian Gonzalez has a good spring, if Fullmer stays healthy he can put up pretty good numbers, could be a good signing for Texas.

what's up with all the Fullmer bashing? From what I have seen the guy is a pretty decent hitter who plays hard all the time. I think this is a good move for the Rangers and wouldn't be surprised to see Fulmer have another good year this year.
