Feeling is starting to turn to Bourn falling to Seattle's price range. Spoke to someone who says they have money to spend. He thinks Swisher is their #1 guy, Bourn 2.

I ask this knowing that by the time you read this it will likely have been answered but do you happen to have a good idea of where Grilling is going?

Grilli is one of the most popular relievers on the market. Spoke to 10-12 different teams, all say they like him. Gary Sheffield is his agent and is said to be very patient and won't budge. Likely Grilli's only chance at a good deal.

Sounds like the Indians are pushing for Skaggs to be in the rumored 4 way, while the D-Backs are pushing Bauer.

From what I've heard, it sounds like the Indians are likely to end up with Skaggs/Bauer and Mike Olt. Not sure on the other pieces, but supposedly Shields would be in the deal, and Upton to the Rangers.

Also, the Indians have offered a contract to Bay, and are also very interested in Swisher and Kevin Youkills.

I just saw Jason Grilli and Gary Sheffield in the lobby. Some veteran writers told me that a player comes here to either make a deal or drum up interest. He already had interest.

Are the Yanks sniffing Youkilis for a possible 1yr deal? Seems like a stretch to me but I have read it in a few places. Do you think the Yanks will do anything or all we are going to hear about is $189 million all winter long?

Well, Eric Chavez just went off the board. Signed 1 year, $3 million with Diamondbacks.

They met with Youkilis. We are going to hear about this $189 million, that's for sure.

Wonder if Mark Reynolds is their target.

I am actually glad some of the players are starting to sign elsewhere. Might jump start them to do something instead of waiting for it fall in their lap.
