It's the same type of hat the MLB has been using for years
See, that's the problem. They're stiff as hell and sit way too high. The only cap I can wear now-a-days that feels right are '47 brand; everything else is too damn stiff and sits way too high.

Those have existed for years and I already have a Rays low crown 59Fifty.

I want the batting practice cap in a low profile version, but they don't exist.

Picked those up yesterday, I like them. They're more light weight and not as thick as 59fiftys, so I actually ended up with a size down from what my game hats are. Now that my head shouldn't be growing anymore, I like them.

They are really nice. A lighter material than the normal 59Fifty's which means a more comfortable fit, especially in warm weather. Also conforms to your head better. Second pic explains that

You grab that at Lids Oxford Valley? Been thinking about getting one of these. I would prefer low crown, but I know Lids doesn't sell them.

Yep. New Era hasn't made a low crown BP hat yet.

I had to shrink my O's bp cap today. It was a little too big when I ordered it offline from lids. I wear a 7 1/2 in a normal 59fifty, but the bp cap was bigger for some reason. All I did was soak it, and then preheated my oven to 300, and baked/dried it for 10 minutes. It did the job, and now it fits perfectly.
