I'm no fan of A-Rod, but to even put Soriano in his league is ridiculous.

Great read about Tim Hudson. He's a good man.

            I've always loved Huddy.

He taught me (not personally but on TV lol) how to throw the splitter that I used in college very successfully.

Pujols likely out for the year.

Meh I think they have a bright future as long as Loria doesn't screw it up, which I guess inevitable.

A lot of guys with potential called up to majors this season and still a few more in the minors like Heaney, Moran, etc.

Some friendly social media trash talking between the Red Sox and Rays.

Dear @RedSox scoreboard operator - your standings are wrong. Yours truly, @RaysBaseball.

Don't worry @raysbaseball we look forward to seeing you in Tampa in September for our home games at the Trop.

I kinda think of Stanton like McCutchen for the Pirates. For years they were sellers, and finally they got the one guy to lead the rebuild. I'm not even a Marlins fan but I'm seriously tired of seeing them in the cellar.

I have a quick rules question, which I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to.

If the batter hits what looks to be a ground rule double, but the outfielder catches it as it goes over the wall, is it still a hit? Or an out?

As I type it, it sounds really dumb and obviously a hit, but I just thought I'd ask.

That would be a hit. For it to be an out he has to catch it in the air. And if he catches it on the bounce before it bounces over the wall or out of play, it's not classified as a ground rule double. A ground rule double must bounce out of play in fair territory, for it to be considered a ground rule double.

                                Hope that helped.
