lol ya. And Romero now has a handout sheet with that information too lol. Sorta surprised Jays pitching coaches weren't the ones to point that out...

Seems like Romero will be the one the other SP have fun with. Buehrle with his K-BB bet with Romero, and now Morrow with this. What's next, Dickey taking over/under bets on amount of hits Romero allows lol.

lol, it's sorta funny to hear stuff like that now.

Just a month or so ago, AA said that he(along with probably every other MLB executive) regularly visits mlbtraderumors.com.

Now Morrow talking about using a website with baseball stats, to actually help out Romero.

Really liking what I am seeing/reading about Justin Smoak.

Careful with this one, because I've been waiting for a long time... I loved when we traded for him in the Cliff Lee deal, and felt pretty dumb most of the time being excited about that after the fact. The kid has been over matched but raked last year after coming back from Tacoma... So far, so good this spring...

Cautiously optimistic will be the words for Smoak this year... It's truly a make or break year for him in Seattle. If he is hitting .200 in June, it's time to cut bait and give the kid a fresh start somewhere else.

Also, remember this name baseball fans - Stefen Romero. Kid is going to be a fixture in Seattle's lineup sooner, rather than later. Just a hunch... I could see him hitting .300 for years to come.

We're pretty much set woth infielders from Miller, Franklin, to Romero. I do hope Smoak kills it this year, would be a huge factor for us, this season will definitely be exciting, Bay is also looking good as well, if he makes it, maybe send Casper o the Yankess?

Well me thinks Brad Lincoln blew any chance of being a spot starter on the Blue Jays this year.

Oh and the Jays losing to the Astros 7-1 UGH! Good thing it's only spring

I've only seen a few at bats from Christian Yelich and Marisnick but these are two nice young bats the Marlins have in their farm system. It'll probably be too late by then but they have the potential to surround Stanton with a few contact hitters.

Morrow doing much better in this start than the last game.

Game is on FX(Canada) but they're showing feed from Yankees station.

Was funny how the commentators were like "Why are the Blue Jays are giving away their defensive formation in spring training?"(when Jays did a shift against Teixeria), then next batter....grounds right into the shift and inning is over lol.

                              That's why!

                              Don't get how:
1.They acted like Jays doing defensive shift against certain Yankee guys were that surprising...Jays along with every team that faces Yankees likely does it against those guys last year and years before....(meaning there's nothing to give away,if anything, they should be surprised if Jays DIDN'T do the shift)

2.They're surprised Jays practicing defensive positioning. It's spring training, meaning teams need to practice stuff like this, and what better time than during games against other MLB teams where winning/losing means nothing.

Do you know who the announcers were? I'm going to guess the analyst was Ken Singleton because he played in an era where ST was basically just a time to get into shape.

Nice to know the Jays were working on their defensive shifts and such especially now with Butterfield gone they need to get to know how the new guy (dunno who as I haven't seen any of the games other than a bit of the first game) calls the signals to move around the IF/OF.

Looks like the pitching for the most part is doing pretty well but again, it's just spring training. Nice to see some pop in LaRoche's bat tho.
