    Statistic question

    Hi Guys

    What are your favorite statistics website? I see fangraphs but was wondering what other ones out there you guys like to go to? Im slowly starting to try to understand saber metrics,lol

    Also is there a glossary out there for the newb stat guy. At fangraphs I see so many different stats but dont know what many of them are,lol

    Fangraphs has a glossary that includes explanations as well as links to additional articles discussing the various statistics.

        It's not a web site and not really specifically about sabermetrics and baseball statistics, but I've found the following book quite intriguing.... for the type of people who actually enjoy sabermetrics:

        The book basically makes a bunch of attempts to evaluate the best baseball strategies... often confirming and debunking the myths of conventional baseball wisdom.

        It is really entertaining, more so than discussing WARs and all that stats that most people really don't understand, hahahaha.......
