Chris Gomez, Terry Adams picked up by Blue Jays

That's some definite depth at short for the Jays with Woodward and Gomez now taking care of business. Great pickup. Would have been nice for them to pick up some power, but for power at short you don't really have many options. At least they did a good job filling a hole that needed to be filled.

Terry Adams could be really good in Toronto if he is consistent.

Two decent pick ups for the Jays.

Terry Adams IS consistent. I could pull up the stats but i'm too lazy. He's a very good groundball pitcher.

BTW stoud don't worry about power at Short, the Jays have some kids on the verge of making the team that will be smacking the ball all over the park.

Darn, I was hoping the Phils would resign Terry Adams. He's a very good pitcher out of the bullpen.

Ooops. I meant to say if he stays consistent. My bad.

Terry Adams though a late bloomer, (4th rounder in 91), he is a great groundball pitcher. You were too lazy to bring up the stats, so I decided I would. In his 68 innings of relief the guy only gave up one HR. His career average and season average last season is about 7K/9, and his walks went to a low of 3/9. As long as Toronto uses him out of the pen, he should be great.

I remember after he left the Dodgers, there were talks of him coming to Seattle. I was hopeful, but it didn't happen.
