            Not completely sure but I believe that the Mets had some sort of an insurance policy on him. If he doesn't play so many games then it kicks in. If he can't play this year, and I remember correctly insurance may pay for some of that monster contract.

                        Lets face it Mo is done, he had a good career, it's time to just sit back and collect a check for the next two years,
                        Mo Vaughn was always a favorite player of mine, and it's sad to see his career end this way.

                              At least his 2004 season was more productive than last year.

                              On a serious note, he should retire. It's most likely he won't though. He'll pull an Albert "Don't call me Joey" Belle and sit at home with his injury while the Mets pay him millions. Who could blame him if he does?
