would one rather have a vlad or a combo of timo perez & the clueless roger cedeno .. no question who i'd gone for.. ps.. if they were scared of his back, who was the brilliant one who traded for vaughn even after he sat out the prior season due to his knees??

He sat out his last season in Anaheim because he ruptured a tendon in his left arm.

They also traded a mediocre player making A LOT of money in Kevin Appier straight up for Vaughn. It was an exchange of bad contracts.

44 million for Appier was really bad. Vaughn's contract was even worse. This team needs new owners. Plain and simple.
