This one should make it at least easier to look up.

One played catcher for the Yankees, and the other played catcher for the A's.

Lol ok. The answer is Mike and Bob Garbark. Mike played for New York, and went 78 for 299. Bob played for the Philadelphia Athletics, and went 6 for 23. Meaning that when the season ended, both brothers finished with exactly a .261 BA.

And since I'm enjoying learning new obscure facts, here's another.

Who was the first player in All-Star Game history to bat against the same pitcher 10 or more years apart?

I saw it, but I waited for your ruling on it.
I figured, you asked, so you get to make that decision.

                                Lol ok.

It was Rod Carew who, as a Twin, had a plate appearance against Tom Seaver of the Mets. In 1981, the same Rod Carew as a member of the Angels had an appearance against the same Tom Seaver, this time playing for Cincinnati.

I'm running out of questions, so this one should be easy.

Against which pitcher did Joe DiMaggio start his hit streak, and which pitcher ended it?
