Since nobody asked.
How many players have appeared in both the Little League World Series and the Major League World Series?
Bonus points if you can name any of them (there are a couple 'household names' that have appeared.)badComment

Re: Baseball Trivia (DONT ASK A QUESTION UNTIL YOU ANSWERED THE PREVIOUS ONE CORRECTL
I know that Jason Varitek has actually appeared in the LLWS, College WS, and MLB WS.
And Chris Drury won the LLWS and the Stanley Cup because he's the most clutch champion that ever clutched in the history of sports (at least that's what they always told me on NHL broadcasts).
As for my guess? I'll say 4.
EDIT: I just remembered another one. Gary Sheffield.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 04-16-2013, 10:19 AM.Comment

Todd Frazier I believe
Edit: Never mind got too excited when I saw little league, and didn't think about world series.

Re: Baseball Trivia (DONT ASK A QUESTION UNTIL YOU ANSWERED THE PREVIOUS ONE CORRECTL
I don't think Rasmus played in the MLB World Series. He got traded in 2011 when the Cards won.
The answer I have is 11 players (here are the names):
Boog Powell (54LLWS/66MLBWS)
Jim Barbieri (54/66)
Rick Wise (58/75)
Carney Lansford (69/ 88 + 90)
Ed Vosberg (73/97)
Charlie Hayes (77/96)
Doc Gooden (79/86)
Derek Bell (80 + 81/92)
Gary Sheffield (80/97)
Jason Marquis (91/04)
Jason Varitek (84/04 + 07)Last edited by ubernoob; 04-17-2013, 01:18 AM.badComment

Re: Baseball Trivia (DONT ASK A QUESTION UNTIL YOU ANSWERED THE PREVIOUS ONE CORRECTL
So I thought I'd throw another question out there:
What two FORMER MVP's were traded straight up for each other (the only instance in MLB history that this occurred)?"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment
