    The saga continues... Baseball Reference says the number 1 most similar pitcher is Woody Williams. He is 39, so Jocketty will probably give him a 4 year deal. Oh, well, it is just a rumor for now.

      Woody has said he is going to retire after this season is over. If Reed was signed, I think it is another decent signing. I like the way the bullpen looks atleast 90% better then it did last year.

        Woody has said he is going to retire after this season is over. If Reed was signed, I think it is another decent signing. I like the way the bullpen looks atleast 90% better then it did last year.

            Although I hate to admit it, all the attention that the Cubs and Astros is good for the Cards. They have no pressure and/or minimal expectations. I think they'll have a better year than most people are thinking. The Central will be a three team race. Not only do they always have a pitcher step up, but they usually have a postion player (Bo Hart) step up as well. Like I said, I hate to admit it, but they'll be there.

                  Rick Reed has been brutal the last 2 seasons in Minnesota pitching in a weak division. I can't imagine how bad it's going to get for him and Cardinal fans in the NL central.
