Re: Selig to sell the brewers..
Well to be honest Selig hasn't really owned them per se. Yes he has majority interest and ownership but since he's been comissioner it's been his daughter Wendy Selig Prieb that's been running the club.
All I have to say is YAY FOR MILWAUKEE!!!
Maybe the Miller Brewing company can buy the ballclub? I mean it's only logical.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Selig to sell the brewers..
Didn't I say that his daughter was in control? Bud just has majority ownership. Buddy boy hasn't done anything with the team for most of the decade except to arrange for them to be the first team in the 20th century to switch leagues and also be the first club to play an interleague game.
The Selig ownership in the last 10ish years has been the clasic example of absentee ownership.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Selig to sell the brewers..
Selig should have been forced to sell the team the moment he officially became commisioner (one of the worst decisions in Baseball history), not just put his daughter in controll, they have done nothing but ruin this team, i hope for all the Brewer fans out there that they get an owner who is actually interested in winning and will spend the money to, not only build the team, but keep them competitive.
something Selig was never interested in doing.Comment
