    Hindsight is 20/20

Remember back before the season started almost no one picked the Twins to win their division? I was just reflecting on that and getting a good laugh.

Even with a whole hoard of injuries, the Twins currently have a 12 game lead. It's amazing to think that we weren't even supposed to win this division.

I'm really excited thinking about what this team could do in the playoffs seeing as they'll have a fresh Radke and Mays assuming they both completely recover, but unfortunately I don't think there will be any playoffs. It's a shame too, because I think the Twins could make a splash.

I really don't think the Twins will do anything in the playoffs. They're a good young team but put in any other division and I'm guessing you can chop off 3-7 wins. The Twins will fall back to earth in the playoffs.

If they were in the West maybe, but in the East they would get to beat up on the Blue Jays and Devil Rays, and to a certain extent the Orioles.

I think having to play the Yanks and Sox a bunch more times would hurt compared to playing the Royals, Tigers and the rebuilding Indians.

Yeah, but how many wins would you add on if they hadn't been probably the most decimated team with injuries?

Also, another thing to be looked at is head-to-head. Besides getting beaten up on by the Yanks, we've done very well against the other playoff contenders. We took the season series against the Angels, lead 2-1 against Oakland right now, and are at 2-2 with Seattle. And, again, those last two were played without two of our all star pitchers, who are both set to return soon.

I'm not saying it's a sure thing for a World Series, but I don't think we'll "come back down to Earth" in the playoffs.

Yeah it's true injuries have hurt, you've really done well without Radke. I stillt think the Twins will not beat the Yank/Mariners/Sox in a 7 game series maybe a 5 gamer.

Don't get me wrong the Yankess and the Sox are good, but every time I turn around they are playing very beatable teams.

The Twins should get Radke and Mays back soon that can only help. Anything can happen in a playoff series.

That would be cool if the Twins and Expos both made it.

Even as a Braves fan, I'm rooting for the Expos to have a good season. It's worth it just to make Selig look more ridiculous. I personally think Selig's days are numbered.

As great as the Expos are doing, they really don't stand a chance of making the playoffs. The NL is just too strong this year, and a team from the West will wrap up the wild card.

Mays had his first start back today. 6 innings with 3 earned runs. Not bad. Twins romped the Tigers. Fun game to watch. Done speaking in sentence fragments.

Mays should really help them out... gotta remember to pick him up for my fantasy teams.

I got Mays, been riding the bench for a while. Guess I will have to start him next week.

I said the Twins would win the Central. Look @ the teams they are up against and the year they had last year.

I REALLY think they have a chance to do well in the playoffs, those guys go all out every night.
