I'm looking forward to seeing the New-Look Yankees and the even-stronger Boston Red Sox duel it out in the AL East. I'm also looking forward to the media coverage that will surround Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte down in Houston. Like every year, it'll be fun watching which players start breaking down, which players emerge to stardom and which underdog team will baffle the audience with their talent.

Concering the Underdog thing, I have a feeling the three big ones will be the A's, Tigers, and Expos. The A's have done a phenominal job with quite the opposite budget. They lost alot of talent, but gained alot too. A loss of Ted Lilly and a Gain of Mark Redman is actually a bit of a plus in my book. They've taken care of a few issues and are still an all around decent team. The Tgers, should they get Pudge, could very easily muscle their way out of more than a few losses, regardless of how bad their pitching is. Thy could virtually become like the Rangers, which is definitely more than a few steps up then where they've been the past two seasons. Though alot of people seem to fail to see it, the Expos are loaded with well spread out talent. See, some teams have one power hitting amazing guy at first and then one crappy barely able to hit for average guy at third. Look at the infield for the Expos. Nick Johnson, Jose Vidro, Orlando Cabrera, and Tony Batista. That could easily be one of the best infields in the majors both defensively and offensively. They still have to work on their outfield, but they might just end up counting on their young gys. The loss of Vladimir is definitely noticeable in the OF, but the loss of Javier is not nearly as visible with guys like Livan Hernandez, Tony Armas, Tomo Ohka, and Zach Day. Day proved he had the stuff to be a starter last year, Livan had a breakout year with the spos, Armas was set to have a 20-win season before he got injured, and Ohka was the meaning of consistant. They could easily make things happen with the Rotation and infield they have, and their bullpen is nothing to scoff at. These guys will be fun to watch in 2004, and I can't wait to see what they can do.

      -Improved Blue Jays Pitching
-How the Spos deal without Vlad Guerrero and how Nick Johnson will fare..
-NL Central Race like last season should go down to the wire.

I'm very curious to see how the Giants will do this year. They have two options; either do really, really good or completely bomb. I don't really think there's an in between with this team.
