I thought he and the Tigers had agreed to terms and it was just a matter of finalizing a couple of details and signing.

Anyway you look at it, the Wilson/Davis combo is lacking.

They have worked out the details on the length of the contract, now it's just about signing on the dotted line.

This would be awesome! I don't think the M's ownership knows how to sign a big name player, but hey, we can dream. Just think of it this way, we have Quinton McCracken, Wiki Gonzalez, Kevin Jarvis, Ramon Santiago, and Scott Spiezio! Who needs Greg Maddux, Pudge, Vlad, Kaz Matsui, Tejada, and Colon? When you sign quality guys like Dave Hanson, your team is in good shape. I will give them credit for Rich Aurilia and Eddie Guardado, very good players. Sorry for ranting, just had to get that out.
Willie Mays Hayes: “Say hey! Willie Mays Hays here! Play like Mays, but I run like Hays!”

Spiezio is good. Besides which, he's in a Band! I mean, Band, Seattle, IT'S A PACKAGE DEAL!

I'm looking forward to Spiezio more than I am to seeing if Aurilia will tank or fly.
