Good Lord, the A's just mashed Jepsen to take a four run lead on the Angels.

Went to the Cardinals game tonight, much better than yesterday's game. The bats didn't show up until the 6th inning but Lance Lynn looked great, 10 k's through 6 and only surrendered one run. Matt Adams keeps on hitting, his PH 2 run HR raised his average to .636 on the young season.

Is the Angels pitching this season worse than last season? I would say yes

They are spending 50 mil a year on two 30+ sluggers when they need pitching depth

Bullpen has been nothing but a disappointment so far in this early year.

Good day for both Cubs and Cards today. Each getting their first win at home.

Since you were at the game and maybe hadn't heard the news - Motte's out until May and may undergo TJS if he doesn't improve by then.

It's still early to be saying that, although with Weaver gone, you may be right. Still, when was the last time the halos had more offense then pitching, a complete flip flop.

Yeah I hadn't heard that actually, not good. I'm just going to go ahead and assume he'll need TJS, Cardinals don't have a good track record of things playing out to the best case scenario when they shut guys down.

I have a feeling Trevor Rosenthal will be closing games for the Cardinals sooner than later, Boggs was fine tonight but in actual save situations he seems to meltdown more often than not.

I thought it would take longer than a week for me to get ill from the Brewers pitching staff.

                            I was wrong.

Detroit could concede the home game, pack things up, and get an 7:30 or so start in under the dome!
