The Jays starting pitching continues to be a disaster.

You have to wonder if it's just a slow start, or if there really is something wrong. Maybe it's the coaches, or something else.

I was never completely sure about the Gibbons move. Been there done that... but we can't get Cito back again so I'll go with it. He managed a team of all-stars back in 93 and it worked out. Don't know how much influence he has these days.

I hate the Cubs.

I know you didnt wanna hear it before, but Im tellin you, theyre not gonna be any good for at least another 2 or 3 years.
There is entirely too much to be done to get this team on track.

Kinda wish the skies would just open up and bring an end to this one - Cubs are only down 2 runs but it feels more like 10.

This is the story with the Cubs. More times than not, they get rid of a player that comes back and bites them in the butt on the other team..

It's not that the Cubs are that bad, it's that the Giants are that good. The Giants just came off of a 3 game set where they dominated the Rockies in all aspects of the game and the Rockies are not that bad. It's the damn Giants.

They're not expected to be over .500 in a pretty bad division. They really are that bad.

No, the Cubs are that bad. 5 walks, 1 HBP, 2 Errors and 1 lazy pitcher = 7 runs in 2 innings

Why cant they just play a tape of Harry every game. These people suck!

Lets talk on Monday. If the Rockies can rebound from the thrashing they took from the Giants and have a decent series against the Padres then I will stand by my words that "The Giants are that good". But if the Rockies stink this weekend and the Cubs get thrashed, well then maybe the Rockies and the Cubs can keep each other company in the cellar this season.
