Re: 4/8 - 4/14 Game Discussion Thread
I was watching the Texas/Seattle game last night on MLB.TV and the Ball Girl high tailed it over the wall to be where the fans were in order to ensure she would not be in the way to interfere with the fielder's attempt to catch the foul ball. It is amazing this dude in KC did what he did. He needs to be canned ...Comment

Dexter Fowler power has really improved. Few years ago I hated him pushing to switch hit but now I'm eating my words, 2 HR from his left side tonight. Training in Vegas with Tulowitzki and Giambi has paid off so far.
And back to back in San Diego. About 6 feet short and it could have been three straight home runsAaron

Ok, you can have Bonifacio, Rasmus, DeRosa, and Izturis. They are technically starters now with Lawrie and Reyes out, and you only said half the lineup, not which half. You can't touch Melky, Bautista, EE, and JP.
Why? It was in KC. Probably gets a raise. He'll be paid more than some of their playersComment

are the 2013 Angels the worst put together team in recent history?
50 mil A SEASON for two 30+ sluggers, one of whom is injury prone and has never played a full season....when their need has obviously been pitching depth
it can be pretty absurd sometimes how these "professionals" design team rostersComment

Listened to the Braves/Nats on the radio last night...absolutely fantastic game. It had a playoff like feel to it IMO just because it felt so important for Atlanta. Best line of the night had to belong to Braves' announcer Jim Powell: "Let's give them a little Nattitude adjustment.""People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment
