Matt Adams hits his 3rd HR of the season.

I have to say if the DH is going to come to the NL having Matt Adams is my one silver lining, I would love to see him be able to hit every day but it isn't likely to happen with the guys we have right now, even with Beltran being gone after this year Taveras will be taking his spot, I really hope we don't deal Adams though with the possibility of the DH coming to the NL in the not too distant future.

I really hope so. I have him on my fantasy team. Couple of doubles and a couple of runs is a turn in the right direction.

Yeah, Clay "Greg Maddux" Buchholz has a no hitter through six, but he has walked four and has had a ridiculous strike zone for most of the game. Plus, it's against the Rays who only have 2.75 good hitters in their lineup: Longoria, Zobrist, Jennings half the time and Joyce a quarter of the time.

And yes, his pitch count is at 91 heading into the 7th...

I don't want it either as I much prefer NL baseball.

That said I'm pretty sure its inevitable that it will happen, just a matter of when not if.

what do you want me to base it off of last season?
DH was because pitchers couldn't hit well and DH usually means high scoring compared to P batting
NL games have been pretty high scoring so I see no reason why they would do It

I would be in favor of the DH for AL & IL games only.
If the NL wants to keep it out of NL games, fine, but I dont think its fair that an AL team, visiting an NL team for an IL game cant use their DH.

8 innings, 5 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts. I'll take that from Doc any day.
