    Beware MLB of Hired Goons

For those who don't wanna read the entire thing...basically it talks about how the Yankees hired people to go to OTHER TEAMS ballparks the Yankees are playing in, and basically getting yankee haters(who sit near the yankees bullpen) kicked out of the game.....

How is this even legal? MLB should fine the Yankees serious money for doing this. I could understand if a fan was trying to throw stuff at Yankees bullpen(I know Rogers Centre at least, does have a mesh screening over the bullpen so nobody can even throw anything at visiting teams bullpen). And even then...how do Yankees have ANY authority over what goes on at other teams ballparks!?

This is ridiculous and hopefully it does grab the attention of MLB, cause while it happened in Toronto, I'm sure it's the plan to happen in other cities as well that the Yankees play in. Even more reason for people to hate them!

I seriously doubt that the Yankees hired goons to quiet the crowd. That seems pretty ridiculous and stupid.

Dude I have nothing against you and I certainly don't want to make enemies with you here. But do you need some cheese to go along with all of that whine? Thanks for reminding me I always cheer against anything and everything related to Toronto. A bunch of Toronto people go to a game and act like total idiots and this blogger wants to blame the Yankees? What a joke. Nice example you are setting for the younger generation who also attend the games. Not saying people shouldn't be allowed to heckle the opposition, but how about a little honesty here. Many of these Toronto fools went overboard with their verbal and physical abuse by throwing things on to the field from the stands.

Oh and I am not even a Yankees fan. I think they rank #2 on my list of most disliked teams.
But I will give you one guess as to who is #1.

Granted it's a small sample size, but when I was in Minnesota for one of their games against the Jays, their fans (of which there were plenty) were top notch. So to look at this and say "Oh, it's just because Toronto fans are obnoxious" is very unfair.

Reading the article it says one of the Toronto fans was "violently arrested". Something tells me there was a bit more involved than just simple heckling, and this guy probably deserved to get tossed, no matter if was a Yankees staffer reporting it or a random fan sitting next to him.

Fined for what? I would think all teams bring some security with them.

You honestly believe these guys pointed out some innocent fan to the police, and the police proceeded to beat the **** out of the guy?

Yankees fans are the most insufferable fans in Baseball, but this article smells like pure whine.

                      I'd agree.

However, I'm slowly finding out that the Blue Jay fans are on the rise on that list of insufferableness. I'm giving them a pass, because they "won" the offseason, and it's natural to feel excited. And my own fanbase is guilty of acting like asses after winning the offseason.

Not all of them are bad, but I know far too many that are to say they aren't on the rise.

It'll be a sad day when I hate a team more than I hate the Yankees. And not for their on field performance.

I had the Red Sox ahead of the Yankees for much of the 00's in terms of insufferability, but last year got rid of most that were just hanging from the wagon after 2004.

A lot of Blue Jays fans are kinda arrogant *******s.
