Thank goodness the offense bailed out the sucky pitching. Nice to see an all around good performance from the bats though.

Way to go Tim Hudson. He's been my favorite player for a long time. Saw him play at Auburn when I was there, then in Huntsville when he was in AA, and now in Atlanta. Still one of my all-time favorite sports moments was when he was traded to the Braves.

If Boston would have won today, they would have been the 5th team in MLB history to win 19 games in April.

In other milestone talk, Napoli was the first AL player in the Live Ball Era to have 27 RBIs and 38 Ks in one calendar month.

Really enjoy watching Oakland play...they are a scrappy team, but they are good, not just scrappy (if that makes sense).

Adam Jones has been proving that the Gold Glove voters have no ****ing clue, what a golf glover looks like. He has to have 5-6 dropped fly balls this month.
