According to the Phils radio commentators yesterday, the Giants haven't been swept at home since 1984?? Are you kidding me? Can anyone confirm this?

Did a quick search and saw that the Dodgers swept them last year from July 27~29.

Maybe they meant in a 4-game series.

I still can't get over what happened to the A's. Were they reviewing it on their cell phones or something? Bud Selig needs to do what's right here.

Gotta love MLB and their "judgement calls."

How about the turn back the clock on Scott Kazmir today?

Dude is DEALIN'. He's hitting 96 on the gun as well.

Yes...I was very impressed with him. Not only was he throwing hard, his offspeed stuff was really nice as well. Would love to see him make a come back as I always liked him and it was sad to see him fall apart.

And they did by not replaying the game or changing anything. There have been plenty of games directly affected by bad calls without having results changed.

The real problem is that MLB Umpires have no accountability. No matter how many times Angel Hernandez ****s up or throws someone out of a game for no reason, he'll still be calling games in the playoffs.

Lord help them if the A's lose out on the playoffs by one game.

I think ol' Bud is referring to his human error in keeping crap like West and Hernandez on the field... right?

If you're referring to the statement released by MLB today it was made by Joe Torre and not Bud Light. I saw the play earlier this evening and I couldn't believe it. Angel Hernandez has to be THE WORST umpire in all of MLB. In fact, he isn't even a normal crew chief. He only got the job because the regular crew chief of that umpiring group had the series off. What makes it even MORE egregious is that Hernandez was ruling on his OWN call. I also found it funny that when he was interviewed after the game by a newspaper reporter he insisted that he interview not be recorded.

What a douche, if the umpires union wasn't so powerful i'd fire his *** right now.
