Manny just hit his 25th double of the year...on pace for 75, 8 more than the ML record.

Hopefully he can stay healthy and break it. Votto was on pace last year to crush it before his knee injury.

Well Wacha goes 7 IP allows 2 H 1 ER and 6 K's, but Mike Matheny decides he doesn't want Wacha getting a W in his debut and brings in Mitchell Boggs for the save.

First pitch from Boggs and its a solo HR from Francouer, 2-2 ballgame.

I don't understand why Matheny is so in love with Boggs, this experiment needs to end, he has to go back to AAA until he figures something out but right now he has no business in the bigs.

Marte just needs to be released, flat out awful and no hope of improvement.

Its almost 3 am after i don't know how long of a rain delay are still trying to get in the top of the 9th inning between the Cardinals and Royals and they are going to try and play.

I really wish i could have been at that game. The fans that stuck around are awesome. Alex Gordon and Jeremy Guthrie helped carry Diamond Pro to the infield while the STL grounds crew tried to ***** foot around and get the game called. Hosmer gave out baseballs. Moustakas gave out sunflower seeds. All while the STL players sat in the club house doing nothing for the fans that waited.

As for the game being called. Its so stupid that a team can take a lead in the top of the ninth. And lose the game. If it had been called. Becuase KC and STL dont play again. The game would have went back to the end of the 8th with STL winning 2-1. Its stupid. MLB needs to fix that rule. The grounds crew took forever getting the field ready. They tried to wait for more rain. Didnt work and im glad.

The umps were great. game ended at 3:15 am. They now have to drive to chicago and work a day game. Joe West is amazing.

I dont usually like umpires and refs. But he easily could have called that game and got more sleep while screwing over the Royals. But he waited it out and let the game finish. I dont know how far of a drive it is to Chicago from STL. But i doubt he is gonna get much sleep before working a game at 1:20 CT.

Screwing over the Royals? They would have had 8 chances to score runs, just like the Cardinals.

You want screwed, how about forcing the Cardinals to wait 4.5 hours before batting. That's getting screwed.

Royals pitchers had to wait 4.5 hours to pitch to the Cardinals hitters. If it wasnt going to be finished. It should have been suspended and replayed at a later date. Both teams have June 24th off. These are pros we are talking about not some 12 year old kids in little league.
