Uh seriously? Another pitcher out early? This is getting ridiculous.

Re: 6/3 - 6/9 Game Discussion Thread
Jays have outscored opponents 11-3 in past 3 games, fairly good few game stretch.
Hopefully they can turn things around. Pitching is the big key in turning things around, doesn't matter if Reyes,Lawrie are back from injuries, if pitching doesn't pull it together, Jays won't be able to win.
Sorta sad to think they need to go 15-6 to be .500 at 81 game mark of seasonComment

Re: 6/3 - 6/9 Game Discussion Thread
I'm aware. The point is, yet again we have a starter...sorry, a "starter" who is just out there killing the bullpen. Like I said after the Ortiz injury, there must be someone in AA or AAA that can go out there and give us at least 5 innings. Even if we start winning games, the bullpen will be trash by August from pitching 5 and 6+ innings every night that Dickey doesn't start. Johnson looked good in his last start (but will it last) and Buehrle is finally getting 6-7 innings a start, if Wang can give us 6, and if we get us an actual starter in there (or a healthy Morrow), not a bullpen guy, maybe we can get somewhere.
Too early to worry about the record. After 60 games, the 2005 Houston Astros were 25-35 (I was at that series) and 13.5 out of 1st and 8.5 out of a wildcard. Wound up 89-73 and they only had one wildcard available as well. They were only 39-42 at halfway.
Toronto is 26-34, one game better. We're only 10.5 out of first and 8.5 out of a wildcard. Now, Houston was the best team in the NL after that first 60 games (NY, Boston, Oakland were comparable in the AL, St. Louis in the NL). But even at halfway, they didn't look that impressive. Like I said, this month is the best time to make up ground. Win games, and at the same time, make it so you need fewer wins to get a wildcard by beating all those teams ahead.Last edited by Redacted01; 06-08-2013, 06:24 AM.Comment

Rasmus essentially has a 3 run, inside the park, home run.
It was a regular triple, but a throw that went out of play caused him to go home(if it didn't go out of play, he MIGHT have been able to just score regularly)
It's scored as a triple and an error though.Comment

Delabar tried to screw that up. And Janssen finishes Delabar's bidding.
And I didn't realize Dustin McGowan was still alive. Figured he'd have a mechanical arm installed by now.Last edited by Redacted01; 06-08-2013, 02:45 PM.Comment
