They look cool, but I am a little pissed. If you click the link to the McFarlane site, it says that series 10 will be the last one for 2004, but it comes out in May. WTF?

They were supposed to come out with an Eric Chavez one this year, now it looks like it won't be the case. It sucks when you consider how many players they have already done multiple figures for (ARod, Jeter, Ichiro, Giambi, Pujols). I know they are trying to recycle the big marquee names and milk more money out of people, but it's a little ridiculous when there are still a lot of fairly big names they haven't done yet.

If they insist on making doubles of people, it should at least be for guys who changed teams, like Vlad, Tejada and now it looks like ARod and Soriano.

Wow, those customs look great. Someone has just a bit of a Jim McMahon fetish, though.

Yeah, Series 8 is just arriving in stores now, Series 9 is in April, and Series 10 is in May. Then they also have regular size and 3-inch two packs coming out. Then you also have Cooperstown figures in July. It's a good thing IMO that they are wrapping MLB up early in the year. It's already going to be tough on the wallet.

Eric Chavez, Carlos Beltran, and a third Barry Bonds were all removed from lineups this year. Chavez and Beltran were taken out because of contractual reasons. Bonds is out because of the players association deal.
