Kredit, you want to fault ARod for wanting to win?

Please, let's not act as if you wouldn't welcome a trade to New York - knowing that The Boss will do anything and everyting to ensure success - over staying in Texas and continuously losing game after game.

You may not like the Yankees, but this should have little to do with your like for Alex Rodriguez. He is in this game for himself and he is doing this to improve his future.

If anything, you should have hated him for taking so much money when he went to Texas. (I don't though). Pushing that aside to hate him because he's playing in New York? Now that's a bit weird, you don't think?

                  <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I read his post 53 times and no where in there did he say he hated ARod. He didn't even say he will start to hate him for going to the Yankees. He didn't even say he wished him ill for going to the Yankees. Read, read, and well, read it again. I really think you Yankee fans like the fact that other fans despise you, and I can see why. But don't start manufacturing the hate for one of your teams potential players when it simply doesn't exist.

what they need to do is have jeter move over to second and have rodriguez play shortstop. he is much better defensively(2 striaght gold gloves) and he has a stronger arm. jeter should as the "team captain" do whast best for the team and put his ego aside, of course thsi would just create a hole at third base but they will try and fill that with maybe another trade or something

but it would give the yankees a very talented up the middle defensive from posada- arod/jeter- bernie/lofton. not to mention the best double play combination out there. this would mean jeter putting his ego aside and doing that.

as a yankee fan i love seeing jeter play shortshop hes been there so long and has done a great job, but arod is just alot better desensively and i wouldnt want to see him move to third where he wouldnt be able to use his talent fully.

id be willing to bet jeter will be the shortshop to start the season, but by the time the playoffs roll around arod will be there. it will take is one injury to jeter, or a few games in a row with errors and they will make a change. just not sure how jeter will take it.
