OK, lets talk power ratings. As I keep thinking about the Yankees recent acquisition, Im not entirely sold that they are as good as they were last year due to the exodus of the pitching-- thier starters are a question mark. Actually, I thought the Cubs were the second best team in baseball. They did far better than the Yankees did against the Marlins and, actually the Cubs were better suited for Yankee stadium than were the Yankees. Anyway, here are my top 5.
1. The Astros- they had the offense now they have the starters.
2. The Red Sox-- I dont expect the offense to be as good as it was last year but they make up for it by improving their starters.
3. The Cubs-- Im say this with bated breath as it is the Cubs however, I have confidence in those starters plus Maddux might enter the fold.
4. The Yankees-- A murderers row but have ???s especially with their pitching.
5. The Marlins-- Yeah they lost Pudge but they still have those arms and can still score runs in a variety of ways. I think the person who has to pull through is Cabrera.
