I don't know. This is Jeter's team, he is Mr. Yankeee. For A-Rod to come in and push the issue, I doubt. But, if Torre goes away after this season, then MAYBE another manager might have balls to make that move.
It could be unsettling to the team, so I kinda hope it happens!

I don't see this as an issue. Arod and Jeter are good friends. Plus I find it hard to imagine the Yankees pull off this deal without doing some due dillegence and finding out whether this could be an issue.
I think this is more media hype than anything else, and think it will be a non-factor this season.Comment
